David Mullet is Founder and CEO of Virtualize. He has developed an extensive knowledge of cinematic virtual reality with over two years experience in the industry. His expertise spans both creative and technology to bring exceptional concepts to life in 360. Previously, David was a director at Ridley Scott Associates and has worked with hundreds of Fortune 500 clients over the course of his fifteen year career in film, design, and innovation. He studied at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London. He has written about VR for Dazed, Blackbook, and more and speaks frequently about the state of the art.

Jess Engel is a virtual reality producer and content creator. She hosts panels on the future of virtual reality and is considered a pioneer in the medium. Her latest panel featured industry experts at the IFP in New York City: “Storytelling in Virtual Reality: What Works, What Doesn’t, and How to Navigate the New Frontier.” Previously, she was the Creative Executive at Electric City Entertainment in Los Angeles. There she worked on critically acclaimed films such as Derek Cianfrance’s THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES and Tim Burton’s BIG EYES. In addition to working on feature films, she’s produced branded content, commercials, and short films.

Ethan Gilmore, Principal, has originated over $400 million of asset backed private placement debt for the media and entertainment space. Ethan helped restructure and refinance a German based media content creation and distribution company out of bankruptcy to become one of the largest film and television content distribution companies in Germany. Ethan has also worked at the USA for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) to aid in the fundraising efforts for the Syrian Refugee Crisis. Prior to Capitoline Global Finance and the UNHCR, Ethan held an investment banking position at CapStone Investments, a hedge fund in La Jolla, California, where he originated numerous global, asset backed Film Library Financings. Ethan received his BA from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ethan speaks Spanish and basic German.

Danny Drohojowski is Head of Creative Development at Virtualize. In this role he is in charge of building relationships with new partners and adapting the company’s creative offerings to the ever-evolving industry. Prior to Virtualize, Danny was a Creative Strategist at Campfire, a transmedia marketing agency, where he lead digital initiatives for Robert Rodriguez’s TV channel, El Rey Network, among a portfolio of other entertainment properties. Additionally, he has worked on a number of groundbreaking digital, experiential, and 360 campaigns for HBO, AMC, and A24 Films. He is a graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts at USC in Critical Studies of Film and his recent entry into Virtual Reality marks the next step in an education and career dedicated to the convergence of storytelling and technology.
